Dear Woman of Spirit,

0n the Autumnal Equinox in 1998 the women of Ravens' Call decided to spend a year in service to their collectives. Their decision was to ‘recreate, reinstitute and share the Rites of Passage beginning with the children; to provide teachings and ceremonies that would guide the children through their natural life changes to gain individual, autonomous freedom.'

During this year the women have gathered again in the large circle and in small circles to transfer the wisdom from one womb to another. We have danced in the seasonal celebrations guided by the Woman Chiefs and dreamed with each other and the Seven Sisters. We have dared to touch our dreams and to find the way to make them sing within our lives. We have taken our Womanspirit world out into the greater. Our dream gourds lie dreaming for the next beginning.

And now the circle opens again and invites you to join the Re-Gathering!

Are you a woman who has the heart for the healing of all the worlds of Grandmother Earth? Are you a woman who can don the mantle of the priestess of initiation and honour the worlds of Grandmother Earth as an equal and necessary part of the balance of life?

Have you the strength to guide the children in the ceremonies and rituals of the Rites of Passage?

The intent of Ravens' Call is to gather together women of strength to find ways to begin a new cycle of caring for the planet, the children and ourselves. To allow spirit to guide us into focused action, throughindividual and collective ceremony, to affect the disharmonies in the lives of women and men.

Deep within the introspective powers of the west the call of the Raven is made. Deep within this well is the cry to join with the mystery of a sisterhood circle, to wield the magic of death, change and rebirth and to step into our power as the midwives of the future. It is the call that knows that ‘everything is born of woman and that nothing shall be done to harm the children.' The women of Ravens' Call call to you to come stand with them under the standard of the Raven and to be a standard bearer to strengthen the pattern of life in the dreaming of this new century.
